Ch.L.: Eileen you were nominated as Best Adult Contemporary Artist at the 2000 Los Angeles Music Awards. How was the feeling and which points do you see in your career as highlight?

E.C.:I was so excited that they picked one of my songs. The points in my career that I see as highlights are awards such as the Best Adult Contemporary Artist at the 2000 Los Angeles Music Awards, when I am in the studio and know that I have nailed a song or when I am performing a song I wrote and see that it is connecting with the audience.

Ch.L.: Your song „That Town", which made the charts 2002 and is receiving airplay on the AC top 40 list and Country radio 2003 - 2004. What’s the story behind the song and how will you explain the music style of the song? Is it typical Country Music?

E.C.:This is the first song I ever wrote. It's about striking out on your own, which everyone can relate to at some point in their life.

My music is really Alternative Country Rock which is a blend of Pop/Rock/Country /Blues. The music isn't your typical country song . But the story could be!!!

Ch.L.: Your single „That Town" is going very well. When, can your fans expect to see a new album from you?

E.C.:My single *Hearts of Time* should be done in 4 weeks. And the album to follow.

Ch.L.: You’re born and raised in Cleveland, OH,The classic Motown 45’s from your older sister’s record collection, How did these influence your musical roots?

E.C It hepled me love all kinds of music and influenced the style of Country music that write and perform and because of it I have became a better artist.

Ch.L.: You feel strongly about a team player spirit, among the indie artists to spread to the world. Why?

E.C.:Team player! If you work together as a team you will become a better person and the industry benefits from all of the talented artists collaborating, plus

you will get much farther than alone. But then again, that's the case in anything you do.

Ch.L.: You were performing since 13, but not with singing and writing.,At which age did you find your love for singing and writing and how did it start?

E.C.:In my late twenties I started taking vocal lessons and acting and theater. And also went to directing school for film. But after going through all that,

I decided to pursue songwriting and singing, since that is where my heart and soul are. I'm glad I went through that great adventure It made me a better artist.

Ch.L.: You traveled this year the first time to Nashville, TN for CMA Music Festival / Fan Fair. How was it?

E.C.:I love Nashville!!! The CMA Festival was so fun and such a good experience. There is such diversity in the artists, but they seem to be drawn together by the fans! You have to love the fans!

Ch.L.: Where do you see the difference between the Nashville and L.A. music scene?

E.C.:I think the music scene is about the same in LA and Nashville. The only difference I see Is that Nasvhville has more writers and LA has more musicans. And they are all wonderful!!!!

Ch.L.: A lot of fans like to by your CD now. Where can they find it and come in touch with you?
