Eileen Carey: Country / Rock / Pop with a splash on Blues and Country Rhythm

CIO: How did you react the first time you heard yourself on the radio?
Eileen: I was to so excited! I will never forget that morning driving in the car and felt that was the start of my career.

CIO: What song do you consider to be your hit song?
Eileen: "Walikng After Midnight" or "Hollywood", because I had so many fans email & call me; CD sales increased and positive feed back from radio
CIO: Who wrote it?
Eileen: Hollywood, me & Irene Tuomainen. Walking After Midnight, Don Hecht, Alan W Block.
CIO: How did it come about that you recorded Walking After Midnight?
Eileen: I have always loved Patsy Cline’s music. So I decided to record her Song, and it took off on country radio; they loved it.
CIO: where did the idea for Hollywood come from, & how long did it take to write?
Eileen: There is so much history here in Hollywood that I wanted people to get a feel for the old and the new Hollywood!!!! It took me and my co-writer about 2 weeks to write it.

CIO: What song do you wish you had written?
Eileen: Well that is hard to say, there are so many good ones, but for my style I would have to say something from Pasty Cline, or "Georgia Rain" by Trisha Yearwood.

CIO: What are you most proud of when it comes to your album?
Eileen: What a great team I had to help me put it together. And the results we've been having with my career.

CIO: What setbacks or downfalls have you encountered?
Eileen: The only downfall about this business is getting to the next level.

CIO: Who is your dream duet partner?
Eileen: Ronnie Dunn

CIO: Who is your musical hero?
Eileen: The Beatles and writer Diane Warren

CIO: What is the largest crowd you've played for?
Eileen: 6,000

CIO: What do you sing in the shower?
Eileen: I don't sing in the shower, only while walking the dog and feeding my animals; they are my best fans.

CIO: What is your pet peeve?
Eileen: When people just talk about what they are going to do, but never do it!!!

CIO: If you could have only 1 possession, what would it be?
Eileen: My family

CIO: What actor would portray you in a movie about your life?
Eileen: Penelope Ann Miller, the girl from Kindergarten Cop; people stop me all the time and ask if I'm her, it's funny...
