Eileen Carey Wins “Best Female Vocalist” At 2007 South Bay Music Awards

                                                           
 
Southern California-based country-pop vocalist/singer-songwriter extraordinaire, EILEEN CAREY, won the “Best Female Vocalist” Award at the 4th Annual 2007 South Bay Music Awards, which took place November 10th at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. The talented Socal-based singer has also just been selected a “Top 100 Unsigned Artist” for 2007 by respected trade publication, MUSIC CONNECTION, in their year-end issue out Dec. 10th. Eileen has recently been featured on nationally-syndicated radio program ROCKWIRED, and the DOUBLE D RADIO PROGRAM (Long Beach City College), as well as being profiled by WOMENS RADIO (“a wholesome American vocalist, intent on creating music with a purpose”)’ and featured in SOUTHBOUND BEAT MAGAZINE (“Carey’s voice is beautiful, calming and soothing to the soul…I hope this album goes far; it is well worth the purchase”). Carey’s song “Hollywood” was recently among the Top 50 tracks in the Country genre as selected by AMERICAN IDOL UNDERGROUND voters, coming in at the #8 position on their charts.
