“Moving On”
The music of Eileen Carey is so captivating and interesting that you will not want to place a genre tag on her sounds. She has decided to cross pop, rock and bluesy country genres with her latest CD “Movin On.” It is certain to please all current fans and possibly capture others that may not have thought to listen to her before they hear what has been created and placed on this great album.
The nine tracks are brilliant in sound with many intricate twists that grab your attention as you listen to find out what song will be bluesy country sound and what is more rock/pop. Just when you think you may have found your favorite track, the next one appears to have been written and performed to seduce you to liking that one better. Carey’s vocals are entrancing and melodic throughout the CD and the music complements her voice perfectly. “What Goes Around” probably best showcases Carey’s amazing vocal talents and also showcases the ability of the music to compliment her singing and lyrics so stunningly well. The title track, “Movin On” and “Faith” also show that Carey has a wonderful grasp of incorporating blues, rock, pop and country to make for a catchy but intriguing sound.
Carey has proved with this latest offering that she has the voice and articulate and catchy lyrics to capture a multitude of audiences. Backed solidly with great musical performances of her band is what makes this a must have and listen to album! It also entices you to await impatiently for the next offering from Eileen Carey.
