A pleasant album of songs about life and times, some of which are written by Eileen herself, notably Hollywood, one of my favourite tracks. I also very much enjoyed the gentle Someone Like You. Good backing arrangements and I like the violin floating through. Another pick was Eileen's own Blue Collar Man, with a funky beat. Lazy is another of her own compositions sung through a megaphone by the sounds of things at the beginning suggesting she is calling out to the lazy one. Song words are in the sleeve. S.M. |
