| INDIEcator Indie Music Reviews April 2000 Eileen Carey - That Town EP (Indie) Ive been listening to this in repetition because there simply isnt enough of it. At only three songs long, Eileen Carey has one thing mastered already, how to leave people wanting more. The first track on here, Wings, is a slower graceful song, which reminds me immensely of Nancy Fallows first EP. The next song, That Town, is a more obvious rock song. What really strikes me about the CD is how full all the songs sound, as far as instrumentation and production. Its the most tiny details of the EP that become the things that make it shine out among its peers. Id give another star for two more tracks, what do ya say, Eileen? *** back |
